Ok....I need help I am having issues..I tried to print out the sucker wrapper and it comes out HUGE!! How do I make it come out the right size!
Get ready for a lot of information!
1. Invitation:
Open up a word document. Then copy and paste the invite image into word. I made the image 5x7 because that is the size everyone is wanting right now. To make sure it is set to this size...click on "format" at the top of word. Then in the drop down menu click on "picture". Next go to the "size" tab and make sure the size is set to 5 x 7 inches. Then you can add your own wording using a text box. Here is how:
Text Box
• First copy and paste the image you want to add a name, word or words to.
• Next make sure that your cursor is below the image that you want to insert a text box over by hitting return twice.
• Then look for the tab at the top of word that says "insert", click on it and scroll down and click on "text box".
• Next, a big box will show up on the screen that says text box...ignore this box but look for your mouse that will show up as an +. Move the +/mouse to where you want your text box to go then left click and drag the mouse to make the size box you want for the area you want the wording to go.
• Then go back up to the top of word and click on "format" and click on "text box" in the drop down menu.
• Look for the tab that says "colors and lines". In the fill section make sure the color box says "no color". In the line section make sure the color says "no line". Then the background will show through behind whatever text you type in the box and there won't be a line around the text box.
• Now you can type whatever you want inside the box by clicking inside the box and choosing font and size.
• If the box isn't the right size you can drag the corners and sides to make it the right size.
If you have problems send me a pm and I would be happy to help.
2. Sucker wrapper
To print...open up a word document and go to "file" then "page setup" to change the page orientation to landscape and set all of the margins to ".3". Then copy and paste this image into word. You should be able to get 4 to a page. The size of the sucker wrapper should be 6.22 x 2.59 inches. Again...go to "format" then "picture" then the "size" tab and make sure that the size is set to 6.22 x 2.59.
3. I thought you might like a candy bar wrapper as well
To print...open up a word document and go to "file" then "page setup" and change the top and bottom margins to "0". When you see a popup that says "...outside of printable area..." click "ignore". Then copy and paste the candy bar wrapper into the document. The size should be 5.25x5.5 inches, and you should be able to get two on a page. When it prints there will be a little bit of white space on the top and bottom of the page and that is okay...that part of the wrapper will be wrapped around and taped underneath the other part. (If that makes sense).
To make...cut around the border of the wrapper, then punch a hole where indicated on the image. Fold along the three lines, slide the stem of the sucker through the hole, wrap around the sucker, and secure with double sided tape. These work best with the flat suckers but I have used the round suckers and they work fine too.
4. Cupcake Image:
Copy and paste into a word document. I made this 4x4 inches but that is probably too big for your needs. To make smaller go to "format" then "picture" and the "size" tab and play around with the size. I think if you make it smaller like 3x3 or 2.5x2.5 the image should print without being fuzzy. If it is let me know and I will try to find a better image. The one on the sucker wrapper is way to small to work for the cupcake.
Hope this meets all of your needs!!!
