We will be staying at the HoJo for the first part of our SoCal trip in September and then spending a few days in the San Diego area. We have plenty of hotel info for that portion of our trip.:surfweb:

We were thinking of staying someplace close to LAX to make it easier to catch our early AM departing flight. Any suggestions on where to stay would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2

There are a ton of locations.

The hotels along Century Blvd - busy section - would be Marriott, Hilton, Westin, etc. Across the way on Imperial Hwy is the Embassy Suites (nice), and in a more quiet location are the Courtyard by Marriott, Doubletree, & Hampton Inn -- all three share a free shuttle to the airport. It took me two minutes to drive from the hotels to the airport.

Any of them would work for you.

Thank you for the quick reply. This DIS has been very helpful in planning for our DLR/SoCal trip. Just as it was before we became WDW 'veterans'.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Renaissaince (Marriott) at LAX. I recommend it for clients without hesitation and use it myself every time we have an early flight out of town.

I am out here in Anaheim now. Since my flight home next monday is at 10:05am and I have to be at the airport 2 hours early I will be staying at the Marriott. One thing is I am staying currently in the Marriott Suites Garden Grove/Anaheim at a special rate. So whenh I made the reservation for the LAX Marriott I did it by phone and gave the agent my reservation number and she came very close to matching my current rate. (Current is $111.50, got $118.) If there is a HoJo near LAX (or a related hotel) they might be willing to match the price.
