we are currently traveling to disneyworld in may. we are staying in a one bedroom villa at beach club resort. Would you stay here or a one bedroom suite in outer building at Grand Floridian? It will be me and my husband and two year old little girl. We are staying at boardwalk villa our first day in Orlando then leaving for 5 day disney cruise and returning for 2 days to do the parks. We havent had a big family vacation so we are going all out but wanted to get opinions on if I should change since there is still availability at Grand Floridian. Thanks for any input

There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

GF is on the MK and Epcot monorail system, thus making it very convenient to get to those parks.

I love the location of BC, because it has the entire BC/YC/BW/Swan/Dolphin complex with the boat service from Epcot and DHS.

I tend to lean a bit towards the BC, due to the amentities that it has to offer nearby.

I personally wouldn't pay for a villa for just one night before your cruise, but that's just me. The Boardwalk Inn (or villas) would be a great choice for a non-park day, because there's so much to do in that area. You might also look at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West to be near Downtown Disney. (I'm assuming you are not going to any parks the first day).

After the cruise, I would pick Grand Floridian in a heartbeat! Having monorail access will be so so nice, especially with a two-year-old and especially with such a short time for the parks.

There is a lot of difference in a Disney suite and a DVC villa.

For one thing with the suite you get concierge access.

I would pick the suite any day over the villa.
