We were lucky enough to find a studio available at HH in 19 days. Have never been there before. What should we know before we go? Good places to eat, etc. Just 2 adults.

Be prepared to relax! My DH and I are headed that way in 2 weeks! We've been twice before. DH goes to play golf and I just sit on the porch in a rocking chair and read and relax. It is great!

It is a quiet place but there is plenty of activity if you want to take part in the activities offered. We've not been in September before, only October. It will be warm enough to swim in the pool or head over to the beach. The beach is a short shuttle ride from the resort. Although we are not beach people. Search around on this site and you'll find info on the beach and activities. Someone did a review of a trip they took recently with some really great photos.

There is not a full service restaurant on site, but Hilton Head has plenty to choose from. We have enjoyed Redfish, Sticky Fingers Bar-be-Que, Salty Dog Cafe at South Point, and the pizza place that is close to the resort.

I hope you enjoy your stay.

That sounds like our trips there! We love Signe's Bakery, Sea Shack (very casual fish place). Lots of times, we get meals at Piggly Wiggly and eat in our villa. Be aware that there's free wireless internet in Big Murgie's Den and every evening I found several others in there on the internet. There are 21 studios at the resort-16 in the main building, 5 (1 each) in buildings 16, 28, 30, 18, and 19. I like the main lodge because in the other buildings, the studios are on the first floor, and the units above are VERY loud (at least when we've been there).

We love to rent bikes at HH. You can rent them right at the resort for the length of your stay. HH is very flat and there are bike paths everywhere. We ride to dinner or over to the Beach House. It's great!

Rent bikes, ride often, enoy the beach, and go to Tapas for dinner. Have the mushroom ravioli, fantastic!

Bikes are good. Day trip to Charleston and Savannah. The beach is fabulous. If you play golf lookup lmteetimes.com to save $$.
