Well I picked BC because I love that location the best. That said Poly concierge is great and I love that you can access the lounge 24/7 to pick up a drink or get a cookie when it is not serving time. When we stayed at the YC the lounge was locked up between offerings.

It's a little hard to help, given I don't know what your favorite park is, how many people are going, etc. But, I still had to vote for Poly GVC. We just returned from there a couple of weeks ago, and it's very hard to beat the transportation there. The monorail and boat launch to the MK and the other MK resorts are great, and the short walk to the TTC makes the trans. options the best on property, IMO.

And, the Poly is such a gorgeous resort, very relaxing and fun! Good luck with your decision, it's a tough one, for sure!

Have you thought of splitting your stay and trying both out?? I really think you will like either one. They are beautiful resorts and each has some great location points.

Thanks for the input. We have never been to WDW only DL. We had made reservations for BC Deluxe room because it would be a bigger room, water view & concierge but then I started a plan for the week & a majority of our time (parks & meals) was over by MK & Epcot so we started looking at monorail resorts. I'm also thinking since its August we'll be looking for the quickest way to get around. My DH doesn't want to split up the resorts so we've been having discussions every night which to go with. I'm really leaning toward Poly. I pretty sure its the closest we'll ever come to the South Pacific.

I just couldn't. Those are my two favorite resorts - I would say the Poly is #1 BUT without knowing your "situation" I couldn't pick. For instance, do you spend more time at MGM/Epcot or MK? Is the pool of the utmost importance to you? What theme would you prefer. Too many variables....

The good news is whichever you pick you'll have a delightful experience.

Be sure to tell your DH that the concierge will MOVE YOU THEMSELVES, that you don't have to do anything more than throw your stuff back into your suitcases. They'll do the rest.

I vote for resort hopping, too!

I would pick BC b/c I like the YC better than the poly and assume I would BC, too.

You do know that you WALK to Epcot from the BC, right? At a monorail resort, you have to take the resort monorail, then switch to the Epcot one.

Tough one , but I voted for Polynesian because I love staying on the monorail loop. Either one would be great so enjoy your vacation!

I vote for the Poly, since you can get to mk and epcot by monorail.
It is easy to split stay since they will move luggage for you, so that is also something to consider.
