Hello, this is my moms account. She has been a member since 2001, you might also know her as Deelovesdis. We had a vacation planned for this past September, however some unforeseen things came up and we moved our vacation to May. We bought our weeks from owners. I know I have some time at the Boardwalk, however we were discussing having time at Saratoga Springs. I am unsure if this too got moved to May, nor am i sure if it was how long the stay is. This is my first time ever using this site and have been finding it a little hard to navigate, and am wondering how i would go about finding out about this time at Saratoga Springs. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance :)
 
I am not sure I understand. Did you or your mom use the Rent/Transfer board to rent a reservation?

If you, you should have something from them with contact info?

Or is this not what you are asking
 
uuum not sure. I know she mentioned 'points' and buying these weeks for these 'points' and 'points' cost money. Mom usually handles all this. I dont know what points are
 

I assume there is a medical reason your mom can’t provide more information?
DVC is disney’s version of a timeshare. Different rooms cost differing amounts of points to reserve, so, for example if you wanted to reserve 5 nights it might cost 100 points, 10 nights 200 points, etc.. When people aren’t going to use their points themselves they’ll offer to use them to make a reservation for someone who’s willing to pay them an agreed upon price. The short hand lingo is that they ‘rent’ their points, they actually use their points to make a reservation in the renter’s name.
Dis has a rent/trade forum here https://www.disboards.com/forums/dvc-rent-transfer.29/ That forum enables those who want to rent points to get in touch with those who want to rent points out. Once they find each other it is a private transaction & there would be no record of that transaction on Dis.
If you search using your mom’s user name you’ll see that she was trying to rent points last summer for a Sept. trip. There’s no way to tell if she was successful at finding someone to rent from or not.
Realize there are other places that people find points to rent such as Facebook groups & point brokers, so it’s possible your mom found points to rent somewhere other than Dis’s rent/trade board.
She likely entered into a contract w/ the owner of the points if she rented spelling out how much she paid - that information might be in her email. If you are dealing with her banking then there might be a payment to someone for the reservation.
If you have access to her MDE (my Disney experience app.) you might find the resort reservation number there & if so it should tell you when & where the reservation is scheduled.
 
You might be able to find it in her MDE, the Disney world app. Click on future plans.

Do you have access to her email? There may be something there that can help.
 
I would suggest you make a few more posts, as you need 10 to use our Private Messaging system. Then you can message the owners your Mom may have rented the reserations from to check their status. Also, as others suggest, if you can get access to her My Disney Experience app, any existing reservations should show up there under My Plans.
 
If you have your mom's login information for the dis, I'm guessing you have it for her emails.
I would look in her emails about any paperwork from renting points.
Also, go into her mydisneyexperience and see if you see your trip.
 
Do you know the owner she rented it from? If not, do you have access to her email? You can reset her password on this site to get into her account and she may have private messages from that owner.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I didn't even think to check her email which I do have access to. I have been on our MyDisneyExperience account in hopes of it being there, but it was not. It doesn't even show our time at the Boardwalk which I know we have and I have spoken with who we bought the time from. I will check her email first, and then if I can't find anything I will check the rent / trade and see if i can find out who she bought it from in there. Again thank you all for the help and suggestions :) and since some of you are curious what the outcome is, I will let you know if we have time at Saratoga Springs or not :)

That must be distressing.

I do hope you're able to locate the information and wish the best possible outcome for your mom.
 
Do a search on here too of your mom's user name, although she could have rented on here or through FB.

MS will only talk to owners, so that would not be an avenue available to renters.
 
I was able to check my moms email and found the email chain. She was refunded for the time she bought at Saratoga Springs and the owner was putting it back up for sale. Thank you again for all the help, this will make planning for the week at the boardwalk much easier and i can start buying tickets and travel plans. Thank you!

I'm glad your questions were answered but sorry your mom is so ill. I hope she'll recover uneventfully and that you'll be able to enjoy your stay at BWV.
