Need Help!!

Ok after a very crappy month (daughter broke her collar bone, grandpa passed, had to cancel trip to Arizona/ California) I got to finally have something good and booked our first DVC trip! Well.... my oldest got home and tells me her school band trip is over February break (when we booked our trip) so now I have to change my dates.

We will now have to go over Easter. Our use year is Dec. I used 2018 and some of 2019 points can I just switch to Easter break or can I even move the borrowed points? Does SSR fill up really fast at Easter?

Your 2018 use year begins on Dec 1, 2018 so any 2018 points you have used, including borrowing from 2019, will be good until Nov 30, 2019. So you shouldn't have any problems moving your reservation to a different time as long as it's before Nov 30, 2019. Good luck!

Doesn't every resort fill up fairly quickly for Easter week/Spring Break? I'd book it as soon as it becomes available, Easter is April 21, 2019, so will start booking in late May, 2018.

That's a great point. The sooner one can book for Easter, the better. I was more or less just addressing the issue of reallocating the points, but availability needs to be considered as well.

They actually aren't that difficult to book. Nothing like Oct-December.

Thanks I didn’t know when I had to book by. If Easter books up then I can still book summer so that’s good to know.

While Easter is a busy time, SSR has so much inventory you should not have a problem - even if SSR is not your home resort. ENJOY!

Like 30-50% more depending on when in Feb they were booked. SSR should be available but maybe not for standard view.

Just a little FYI, we were there this year for Easter and it was one of the MOST crowded we had ever seen the parks.

We still had a blast but wanted of course to prepare you for the crowds!
