Okay so me and my husband were suppose to go to WDW in February for the princess half marathon but we no longer can. So we either have to can do our reservations or move it to later in the year (rest of the family is going in may). My question is since we are not sure if we can go with the rest of the family if we cancel our current reservation we lose the $200 deposits correct? Or could we move it to may then change the reservation for the rest of family and not include us? This would involve changing resorts, dining plan, everything. What should we do?

Cancel the reservation and get your $200 deposit back. You are still outside of the 45-day cancellation window. There will be no penalty.

You will not get back any trip insurance that you paid for and if you made airline reservations, you will be subject to their own cancellation/change policy.
