Need Help

OMG! I just received my job ID... you know how we can at time accumulate them over the years, new job, new drivers lisence (sp?) etc.
Well this one was bad I mean BAD. You know how in the back of your head, ok, I'm in need of losing some pounds. Yea, I'll just stay out of the focus of any camera pointed at me.

But man, this photo was a closeup option! I look beyond awful! Add a really short haircut... I told my manager I looked like a "fat porcupine"
Yes, I can laugh at myself... but when I look at it I just want to cry! How could I look that bad, and not even notice for myself!
Just wanted some help in pushing me to the next obvious step...

Thanks for the welcome! I actually didn't know where to post my "a-ah Omg"
moment.
I 've always lurked on WISH never really understanding the right forums for what. I just know that you all are a great inspiration and I need to jump on board and get it going!

Boy, can I relate to that!! I had to have an ID made for a conference, and it came out looking like a linebacker with a teesy, tiny head on top!! I was embarrassed to be seen with it (there's no way I could look that bad) and avoided other conference members, because I didn't want them to see "Fat Kelly".

I think I have the opposite problem that anorexic people have...when I look in the mirror, I see a skinny person. But when I see a photo of myself, I can't believe how big I really am.

I'm new to this board too, it seems pretty supportive...let's see what we can do to bring our pics down from 8meg to 750k.

Oh, and when you reach your goal...or even as you progress, "wash" your id, you can always get a new one!!
