Need Help !!!

1. Go here: http://disney.go.com/youraccount/
2. Try to sign in.
3. If it will let you, your issue is VMK specific. If it won't, your issue is Disney-wide as Monkey was discussing above (in which case see 4.)
4. If you have gotten to step 4, my guess is you got "Login Failed" when doing step 3. Select "Forgot Username" and you will receive an e-mail with your accounts. That e-mail will have a link to use to sign in. Try it. If you have been banned from all Disney accounts company-wide, that link will lead you to a message that says so.
5. Call (866) 993-6263.

1. Went to the URL you gave me and it wanted a "name" rather than an email address. So, I had to create an account with a "name" rather than and email address.

2. Signed in and had no problem. However, I tried signing into the DMR site with my *email* address and it said "member name and password were not found." Now I *know* I have an account there since I got my Inferno, Stitch Hat, and Mickey Window. **UPDATE** I was able to sign in using my "member name" that was created.

3. I am going to assume since it let me register, this is a VMK problem :confused3

4. Could not find any place on there that said "Forgot Username" Unless it is the same thing as "Forgot Your Account ID?"

5. Called the phone number and had to explain to the person what VMK was :lmao: She put me on hold and politely told me to email memberservices@twdc.com - never heard of this email address :rolleyes1

*If* I received any type of ban, would I not receive an email telling me of this fact? I am soooooo lost I have no clue what to do? ARGHHHH - Why did this have to happen now? Guess I need to call VMK and find out what the heck is going on :scared: Anyone have a phone number?

hehe Stop! It asks for "account id." This is whatever you use to sign in to VMK on TiDoubleGer. For example: My character title is Jegrezo, but my login is an e-mail address. When I go to the mentioned screen, I use the e-mail address that I use to sign in to VMK to access my account information.

If you created a new account with a name, everything that happened after that point is now just getting information on that new account, NOT your TiDoubleGer account. Does that make sense?

Go back to that link, enter in "Account ID" whatever you use to sign in everyday to VMk and try again.

I tried using my email address, but got the message "Login Failed." It did the same thing at the DMR URL. Anyway, I went ahead and did the "forgot User ID" and received an email that gave me several "member names" and MY email address. However, there was no "link" in the email to use to sign in with. So I guess I need to call the phone number and tell them I can not access ANY Disney sites and see what the deal is :confused3

Question - Shouldn't I have received an email from VMK stating that I was banned?

Where is a GOOD hard wall around so I can bang my head against it :headache:

Silly me with all that I have been doing with my parents since I got out of the hospital and all the lack of sleep, I had forgotten that I had to change my password because I had someone "hack" into 1 of my accounts using a "key stroke" program and I forgot to save the new password in RoboForm :rolleyes1

Can not wait to see everyone :cool1:

 

Thank goodness you figured it out. Phew! I didn't know someone had hacked into one of your accounts recently. That's terrible. Do you think it was to get into a VMK account or your Disney account? And how did you find out?

Noticed one of the passwords on an email account had been changed. So hubby being the IT guy he is, set up some type of *trap* to see what was being done and he found out that someone had been using a "key stroke" program. Basically what that is, is someone is watching/recording every thing I type at all web sites. Therefore I changed ALL my passwords, but had forgotten to change it in RoboForm ... silly me :rolleyes1

Missed all of you this weekend and am sooooooooo happy that everything is still on sale :cool1:
