Need some helpful solutions for my six year old. We are flying in 10 days down to wdw. On friday we found out that both of his ear tubes are blocked. I am trying to get him into the ent, but there is no way to get him in before our travel date. Does anyone know if he is at risk flying with his tubes blocked? I normally get the children's ear planes for him, and I figure I can give him some gum. Does anyone else have any ideas?
Hi... my DD had tubes when she was little and now my DS has them - so I know your situation well. I would call your ENT and tell them your predicament. If they can't get him in at least they could have a nurse call you back and give you some advice. Or perhaps your pediatrician could help! Sorry, I don't have an "answer" per se... but these are things I would do if in your situation!
Good luck and have a great trip!!! Don't forget the earplugs for swimming!
