Need help with wait list

We are going to WDW at the end of May and staying in a 1BR at BCV. We are starting the vacation at AKL Saturday and moving to BCV on Sunday. I have wait listed for a 2BR at BCV and MS suggested day by day wait list in addition to the entire stay. How does this actually work? I do not have enough points to hold the 2BR for whatever days do become available while still holding the 1BR ressie. I am also not interested in moving from a 1BR to a 2BR or vice versa since we are already moving from AKL to BCV (once is enough for a 6 night vacation).

This might all be a moot point since the chances of a 2BR opening up that week are slim, but if someone could shed light on how this works I would greatly appreciate it.

If you do not have enough points to add the days one at a time, you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed that the whole week comes through at once. You have nothing to lose by staying on the waitlist for the whole week. Good luck!
