Need help with transportation time estimates

Hi, on Jan 22nd, we are at animal kingdom. My wife and I have a reservation for 2 at the California Grill at 730 PM. Kids are staying at animal kingdom till close with the grandparents. What time do we need to leave the animal kingdom to get to our reservation on time? Is it wise to take the Contemporary bus from Animal Kingdom, or should we get an uber instead? I'm unfamiliar with how often the busses come for the deluxe resorts, as we typically stat at art of animation for the family suite. Thanks!

Buses should come every 20 minutes, but we all know how that should goes. I would still take the bus, but I'd be at the front of AK by 6:30 at the latest to make sure I had plenty of time to get to the ADR.

I agree with the PP. Again, be at the gate at 6:30, not first start heading to the gate at 6:30. It can be a long walk from deeper in the park.

Ok, thanks for the advice. Our flight of passage fast pass is at 545, so we'll ride that and head straight there from the sound of things.

Uber, allow 45 minutes. Once you get the the cr you still have to check in and be escorted to the restaurant.

Check in for your fast pass as early as they let you, should be 5 minutes early. Both times my daughter and I rode FOP during the week of Thanksgiving, it took almost 1 hour (probably about 50 minutes, to be more precise) from the moment we tapped our magic bands to walking out of the store at the end. Nothing went wrong, from what we could tell. The entire process for the ride is just long, from waiting a bit, to the preshow, to walking all the way to the store when you are done.

Honestly, I think your timing is tight and you will need the Uber. I don't think it is possible to be at the bus stop by 6:30 given your FOP fast pass time.
