Hi all. Not sure what sub forum to post this in please move if appropriate. A buddy of mine and I are going together in the fall. I am dvc so I booked the room and added him as a friend in the app and put him on the reservation. Now I can see his family’s reservation and their photo pass pictures. How can I remove their itinerary without removing him as a friend?

Assuming your friend has their own MDE account and doesn't share a single account with his entire family......

Something to try in the app. Go to your Account Profile and bring up the Friends and Family list. Click on the friend you just added and make sure where it says "Choose Which Plans that person Can See", it's only plans the 2 of your share. It might be clicked to All Plans. If that doesn't work, your friend might actually need to check and make sure he's not sharing everything with you. You should be able to tune it so you only share the plans you have coming up with your friend, not his whole family!

Thank you! He must be sharing everything with me. I’ll let him know. Thank you!!

Quick follow up question. There is an option on the website version of family and friends that says "Allow xxxx to view your Disney PhotoPass photos" if we turn this off, can we still see the pictures we take when we are on a trip together or is it a all or nothing thing?

I believe (but unverified, sorry!) that if you are viewing only plans you share together (like your room reservation), and if you allow your friend to view photos on the web site, all you'll be seeing are the photos during the shared time period. It's possible your friend will need to turn off photo sharing with you, but I think if you're only sharing things that are part of your joint plans, you should only see photos during those joint times.

I've played with the app and site over the years, but it's still a little trial and error for me even now! But I don't think photos need to be all or nothing for your trip with your friend.

Thank you! Will give it a shot and see if it works!
