Hi after my planning session I am not 100% on the color of roses - how did you all decide what to get for flowers? They do not have an already put together pic of my bouquet- can some one help and do you know of any sites that will show me colors of roses used in bouquets?

I searched the web for pictures of bouquets I liked. I found my bouquet on a website and e-mailed the photo to Rosie in the floral dept. I was very happy with it. I will try and find the website and forward it to you.
Good Luck.

What I did was I wanted the all roses, but you only got I think 2 colors. I didn't want just 2 colors, and didn't wanna pay extra. She suggested a different bouquet with more color. She e-mailed a pic, and I went with it. Then she incorperated blue into it since it was my only sorta 'color'.

Allisonswonderland, if you'd like to read about what I went through during the floral portion of my Planning Session, click here. I have links in that particular post to all sorts of things, including flowers. I hope it helps.

what color were the soft pink roses u used?

Great. Ask me a question that I cannot possibly answer. (I am an idiot when it comes to flowers & colors.) ;)

Seriously, all I know is what was stated in my Floral Proposal. I have no idea if this will help but I'll state it below anyway:

Bride:
Round, hand-tied, French style bouquet of pastel floral to include pink freesia, lavender freesia, pink, lavender, peach and yellow roses and stephanotis blooms with pearl inserts. Place three hidden Mickey's randomly placed in stephanotis blooms throughout bouquet. 75% ribbon wrap the faux stems with sheer dijon ribbon. No bow/streamers. Single pearl Mickey closure on handle.

Here are three photos:

If I can find some better photos to share, I'll post the links here. I hope these will do for now.

I told my planner what color my dress was, what color my bridesmaids dress was, that i wanted a tight french bouquet, and she came up with something that sounds awesome. I"m excited to see it!

Thanks guys! Janet did you have any roses that were whitish w/ pink tips? It looked like you may have and that is one that I am considering -

I cropped two more photos and put them into my on-line photo album. From what I can see in these photos, the roses that were used in my bouquets came in four colors: pink, peach, yellow, and lavender. The roses all look to be solidly colored from base to tip:

Boy, after looking at all of these floral photos this evening, I suddenly have an urge to order myself a bouquet of flowers from the local florist. I wonder if I can get my husband to commit to an impromptu vow renewal ceremony so that they won’t go to waste. ;)

Janet-I love the peach and pink roses in your bouquet - I have looked at the Rossini Rose which is a white rose with pink tips, my concern is that the pink will be too vibrant. It is so hard to imagine....thanks for the help

The roses in my upcoming VR contain different shades of pink, lavendar, yellow, white, and creamy orange. I think that's all the colors. These are dispersed between the bouquets, table decor, fountain decor, etc. I didn't know there were so many options until I started researching.

Janet has a good link to show the flower options.

I think you can pretty much get any color you want.

Good Luck

I had requested hot pink and orange for our VR last April.
I was very happy with the bouquet.

Kerri, the link did not work for me either. I would love to see your bouquet b/c my color is orange.

J&L Love Disney made an excellent point -- you should be able to get pretty much whatever you desire. However, your pricing will reflect this. Remember, any flower that Disney needs to special order, be it due to its uniqueness or due to its being out-of-season, will cost more than a flower that is readily available. Your Floral Event Manager will explain this to you along with any special pricing that may come into play.

Allisonswonderland, run your floral choice by your Floral Event Manger to see what he/she thinks. It's always nice getting the advice of an unbiased expert.

The Floral Event Manager who I had for my custom vow renewal had excellent taste and was extremely honest with me. She even talked me out of a few things that would have meant more money to Disney but that wouldn't have added much to my event. For example, I asked her opinion regarding light-up chairs. I was already having light-up tables for my Dance Party, but she told me ‘no’ on the chairs. She said they were difficult to see unless the room was pitch-black, which, of course, it wasn't going to be for an outdoor Dance Party. I was glad I listened to her. No one would have noticed the chairs because the Dance Party was too well-lit. Her judgment was dead-on.

So, if you have a particular flower in mind, run it by your Floral Event Manger to see what he/she thinks. They have far more experience with flowers than we do (it's their job).

By the way, I looked up a few photos of the flower that you are considering:
Rossini Rose # 1
Rossini Rose # 2
Rossini Rose # 3

It’s a beautiful flower. Please keep us posted.

Well I have asked if we could add a soft pink rose along w/ the pink lisiabthus, rossini and green hydrangea, I also thought about stephanotis- fo a touch of white-what do you all think?

It sounds lovely. Your bouquet is somewhat similar to this one: click here. That bouquet has white fresia, green hydrangea, creamy lisianthus, curcuma and peach roses.
