Hi DISers,

I need help with CS suggestions. We just switched from regular dining to counter service dining plan for our trip on 7/31 because I wanted the flexability of not having to make it to a dining reservation just in case my DS1 is either taking a late nap or just doesn't want to leave a park or the pool. I know about the CS options at each park and which are good options, but need help with resort CS options.

We are staying at Poly and figured we could go to other resorts to try their CS options if we wanted an option other than the parks.

Please let me know which resort CS options I should consider that have a good variety of food options for my DS1, my parents and myself. We have a car so we can easily get to any resort on property.

Thank you all in advance.

I have heard Pop has a great food court. The Pepper Market @ CS has some mexican things and is supposed to be a cut above as far as food courts go.

Also good is Gasparilla Grill and Games at GF. Plus it's open quite late. They make most items to order (lunch and dinner). We usually stop here to use our last CS credits to get food for our plane ride home. The Italian Meat Sandwich is very good.

And don't forget at Capt. Cooks at Poly you can get a serve yourself Dole Whip for dessert or as a SC.

Everything POP does have some good choices.

We always make a trip over to POFQ for the beignets. We have several orders of 3 and it's our breakfast. You can use a SC for this. ;)

Having a car really gives you more flexibiltiy when eating at resorts or DTD. We always have a rental.

Oh, and speaking of DTD there are some great CS choices there. There are 2 Wolfgang Puck Expresses. Quite possibly the best CS out there. We like the one by DQ best. Also good is Earl of Sandwich. They make the sandwiches up to order.

Oh, and one more that we have driven to is Artist's Palette at Saratoga Springs. They have some different choices and it's a beautiful resort.

Personally we didn't care for Pepper Market when we went a few years back. We have tried it recently. I don't really like the way you get your food.

I would agree with you about going there.
