I want to make sure I understand this before I make any changes. We will be in WDW November 6-12. FD looks to be available November 9. Can I book a split stay and get the FD for the 9, 10 & 11th? If I do that, will my ADR dates also be split? and my FP+ dates? If I wait and try to book FD after my ADR date, will I be able to keep my ADRs or will I have to reschedule the ones during FD?

Any help will be appreciated. I'm getting lost and confused. There is so much discussion on the threads it's getting hard to follow.

Yes, you can book two separate reservations, one for Nov 6 -8 - without FD, and one for Nov 9 - 11th with free dining. Nothing will happen to your ADR's - they are just under your MDE account. People who are not staying at a WDW resort can book an ADR.

But - free dining usually requires a ticket purchase. The tickets would be part of your second reservation. I think you can pick up your tickets three days early, but I'm not sure how that works with the fp+ system. I'm not sure if the website will let you make fp+ selections for Nov - 6 - 8 if your tickets are attached to your Nov 9 -11th reservation.
