Need help with planning a special surprise for 1st timer

We are bringing my mom w/us this time & she's never been to WDW. So, I would like to surprise her w/something. We are staying at AKL & was wondering if they could have something put in our room for her. Right now I'm thinking of getting her Minnie ears w/her name embroidered on it. Would this be something AKL will help me w/or is there someone else I should be calling? Does anyone else have any other ideas???

Look into disneyflorist.com( I think) They can specialize gift baskets.My Neighbor had Mouse ears basket made up fo DD first trip and it was in the room waiting on arrival.

On my daughter's 40th birthday we were at AKL. Her husband had a basket delivered from disneyflorist.com. It was a white mouse ears basket filled with candy, camera, and the black Mickey ears embroidered in gold lettering. It was very nice, and I'm sure you could go as simple as you want. It was expensive (I thought) but we arrived the day of her birthday so it was delivered to Boma while we were celebrating. If her birthday isn't until after you arrive you could buy the ears yourself and on her birthday present them at dinner or have them in her room.
