:) Going in Nov with DH, DS, 7, DS, 3, and newbies SIL, BIL, and their DS, 6.

I have already made these choices for dining:
1st night Crystal Palace
Sci Fi
Planet Hollywood
Whispering Canyon

Now I am having trouble figuring out where to eat on our EPCOT day. Don't think I want to try Garden Grill given all of the bad reviews, not really into any of the international cuisines offered there, SO I thought it might be fun the take the monorail somewhere or even go to one of the other parks. Our folks have simple tastes, no seafood. Any suggestions??? :)

Sorry I meant 50"s Prime time not Mama Melrose. Although is you like Italian but not fancy Mama Melrose would be great too. www.allearsnet.com has menus to help you out on you choices.

How about Chef Mickeys? It is a character buffet and from what I have heard alot of great food.

You could leave through the back exit at Epcot & eat somewhere on the Boardwalk.

I agree with going from Epcot WS to BW. ESPN has a menu with a good variety.

Also, I would consider eating at one of the restaurants at the GF. We like to go to eat and wander around the resort - it's so beautiful.

I'd thought about Boardwalk too. How is Big River Grille?? I've not heard much talk about that one, but it looks like they have a wide variety on their menu. :earsboy:

How about taking the monorail to the Polly and go to Ohana's. You will get lots of food and the kids will have fun.

Even picky eaters and plain food lovers can eat well at Big River Grille and Spoodles so don't be put off by the more exotic fare on the general menu if you go to Boardwalk. My 10-year old, who can tell the freshness of a chicken strip by sniffing it a metre away will not eat at ESPN.

I've taken 4 kids (teenage or pre-teen boys) with different taste buds to Teppanyaki and they've managed to finish most on their plate and fallen in love with the young lady cooking on the grille. The same group also ate well at the Biergarten buffet, although they don't really want to get up and dance...

But the other way of eating at EPCOT is to graze -- have nachos in Mexico, bratwurst in Germany, and a pancake in France.

Lecellier is a very good place with steak, fish, pretty "normal" not international type fare imo. i'd definitly do it at epcot
