Need Help with MK Meals

My family usually eats at LTT, BOG, and CHH when we go to MK. I will be going with my Chinese intern in less than two weeks and we are trying to plan our meals. She does not like fish or seafood, so CHH is out. I would love to be able to book BOG for lunch, but of course, can't get availability. She's up for trying LTT. If we do it, we will eat there for lunch. Dinner is my problem. I was thinking of taking the monorail over to Poly to grab something at Capt. Cooks. It looks like a good menu and we would want something quick so we could head back to MK. This would allow her to ride the monorail and see a deluxe resort as well since we are staying at the values. Is this a good idea, or should we stay in MK and try somewhere else? (BTW, I do NOT want to eat at Cosmic Rays!)

For QS, I would actually recommend Contempo at the Contemporary over Captain Cook's.

The Plaza is pretty good for the price. We've also done Contempo Cafe for a quick meal after MK, and it's alright.

Pinnochio Village Haus in Fantasyland might be a good fit that keeps you in the park.

I thought about that, too. I wasn't sure if it was good. The menu seems very limited.

I really enjoyed the flatbread I had there last year. Its nothing spectacular, but it had a very good flavor. I think it was the Italian one if I remember correctly.

I plan to go to Pecos Bills for fajitas or fajita salad - haven't decided yet which I want

I'd either go with The Plaza or heading over to the Poly as you suggested. We love The Plaza as it offers solid table service food at counter service prices. Captains Cooks is pretty good, though nothing particularly special. I'd go that route if you really want to check out the Poly vice just going to eat.

Skipper's Canteen was marvelous! I know there's an issue with only being able to get day-of-service ADRs, but if you can get there, the menu has a wide variety of options.

Thanks for all the good advice. I was able to book separate reservations for BOG for lunch. Hopefully they will be close enough together that we will be able to eat together.

As far as dinner, I think we will play it by ear. If we have time, we may head over to the Poly. I chose that since she likes something with an Asian flair, and I think that resort is much more beautiful than the Contemporary. If we decide to stay in the park, we will probably try Pinnochio Village Haus. There were no good times for the Plaza.

Just don't pre-order your meals for BOG and you should be ok. We did this last year when we added someone at the last minute and it worked out fine. Our 1 person waited to order until we were called in. Our reservations were 15 minutes apart and we were called about 5 minutes apart.

Our reservations are 25 minutes apart. I'm going to keep trying to get something closer though. We plan to arrive at the first time and then explain that one reservation is in 25 minutes. Maybe we will get lucky and they'll take us both in. If not, can I order mine and hers together and explain that she will be in there soon?
