Need help with itunes download of Podcast

I think I may be doing something wrong but I have no idea what it is.

I have my itunes set to automatically download the podcast. I am a few months behind but am very interested in hear some of the recent shows so I plugged in Wednesday to get the most current ones on my nano (the new small touch screen one). I saw that episodes were being added so I let them sync and then disconnected.

When I went to listen later, I realized that I only have one segment of each recording date. So for one week I had the email show, one week I had housekeeping and rapid fire, etc.

So how do I get itunes to automatically download all of the segments? Is there something I can select differently or do I just need to download them manually?

TIA for any help and advice! I am definitely itunes challenged!

Not a technical expert by any means, but I had trouble synching my iPod with iTunes a while back--turned out that one of the updates to iTunes had knocked out some of my defaults. Had to go back to my computer, go through all the screens to reselected what was synched. That fixed it for me--hope this helps.

Curious to see what others say, as I've been having this problem for a while.

I am assuming the problem is that iTunes is not downloading all of the podcasts issued in one day (and that this is not a synchronization issue).

In iTunes click on the word "podcasts" in the left hand frame. In the lower left corner of the bottom frame click on the "settings" box. That will bring up a window. One of the settings in the window asks "when new episodes are available:" and there is a drop down menu. Select "download all." I recommend also selecting "all episodes" in the "episodes to keep" section.

This will apply to all podcasts, not just the DIS unplugged. For most podcasts it won't matter as only one podcast is released each day.
