Need help with hotel in Panama City Beach

I need suggestions for a hotel or condo in Panama City. There will be 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We would like to keep it under 125.00 per night and want to be on the beach (ha ha I know!) Doesnt have to be fancy, just clean. My husband just sprung this on me and wants to go this Sunday !!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The one time we went to PCB, we stayed at the Sea Haven Beach hotel and like it. It was on the beach on only like $80 or $90 a night I think! Nothing fancy but decent, on the beach and affordable which is all I cared about!

EDIT: I was wrong, I just remembered we've been there twice, lol... the other time we stayed at the Beachbreak hotel and I think it was about the same as the other place.

Try Boardwalk Beach Resort. They have several different hotels on the same property and I think they're pretty reasonable. Also try the Oases Resorts, I think some of them are within your budget.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago. Although it was an older resort, The Summit, we had a great condo. We went through vrbo.com. For five nights, I paid $700 total. It gets cheaper when school starts. PM if you're interested and I will tell you who we rented through. Their condo was very nice since it's an older resort. The Summit is on Thomas Drive. Great pools and beach!!

Put in your dates and what you are looking for in size and you will have so many condos pop up. We go to PCB often because my DH is on a job site in south Alabama and we go visit and go to the beach at the last minute quite a bit. I have always found a place on VRBO. Have stayed in some great condos for less than a hotel and had a good time on short notice. Good luck!

I am there right this minute. I am ar the Holiday Inn. It's fine but it is loud. We were suppose to be at the Days Inn but after about 30 minutes I complained & got out of there. NASTY! Our original reservation was for Beachbreak by the Sea but chickened out so that's when the Days Inn reservation was made. Since the Days Inn was ick, I booked the last room at Holiday Inn. We are paying about 950 for 4 nights. OUCH. Try Edgewater, we couldn't get in but many people I know go there. Use VRBO. We should have, you live & you learn. I doubt we will be back to Panama City Beach. Very commercial. We went to Vero Beach a couple of years ago & were spoiled. Since you ate bringing teenagers I would say Panama City Beach will be perfect.

I agree with VRBO.com. I have used them numerous times to rent at PCB. We always stay at THE SUMMIT. It is right on Thomas Dr. Close to everything. Great place for teens. Right next to Club LaVela and they have "teen nights".
The Summit has 2 big pools with lots of seating around them. One goes to 6ft, the other to 8ft. Good size big pools. Also 2 kiddie pools and 2 hot tubs.
The Summit is also very safe in my opinion. They have guards at the entrance from the beach and in the front. They don't let anyone in without their wristband. The rooms all have beach views and most of them sleep 6. With a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 bunks in the hall and a sleeper sofa in the LR. Most have washer/dryers which I love, and all have well stocked kitchens. They are older but clean. Like I said we always stay there.
