My parents-in-law are giving my niece and nephew (and my husband and me) a trip to Disney World for Christmas. My mother-in-law is looking for something to wrap up for the kids, something that looks like a ticket. They're only 8 and 5, so they wouldn't really figure out that package that Disney sends. We wanted something that looks more like a ticket, with their names on and very official looking. Does anyone know of anywhere that I could download something like this? I'm going to try to make one myself, but I thought I'd see what else is out there. Thanks for any help!

found this on the collectedmemories website - instead of putting in a park map you could make up some kind of ticket to put in the holder

My sister and I are giving a trip to my niece (her daughter) for Christmas. We're going in January. I'm doing a princess type invitation for her, inviting her to visit Ariel (her favorite)

Oh speaking of that - thanks faerie - you might be able to get someone to send them a postcard inviting them to Disney thru one of the fairy godmailers here on the boards..

We gave my son a suprise trip for his birthday two years ago. Noone in our families knew. It was the last package and when he opened it there was a mickey balloon, t-shirts that we made (its my 8th birthday and we are taking on the World), Golden eared hats and an invitation that I made that requested his appearance at Mickey's not so scarey Halloween party the next nite in WDW. It took a few minutes to actually get it but everyone was excited for us.

When we surprised my daughters with a Disney trip for Christmas one year. we bought wood letters that spelled out "We're going to Disney World Tomorrow" and wrapped them up in a box. The girls had to figure out what the the letters spelled out.

It was really fun.

You could a scavenger hunt. Let them open a present with a clue in it and send them all over the house and yard (depending on temp.) looking for the next clue. Make every clue a little more Disney themed than the next and in the final clue use the big ticket idea from an earlier post. I can just see the kids running around looking for each clue and getting more and more excited.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do. They will be thrilled no matter what.:santa:

it does not look like a ticket but there are postcards in the parks that are actually dulicates of the tickets..... but again it doesn't look like a ticket

That's a really really good idea.
