Hello, We are taking a trip down to WDW Dec1-Dec10 2005 staying at HGVC INT Drive 2 bedroom 3 adults 2yr old and 7 yr old. Can anyone give me some input on what to expect of this resort? This is our 1st time off property, we will have a car, so transportation is not an issue. Just wondering if we will have enough room and privacy my husband, and baby son and I and we are taking my sister inlaw and neice with us? Does anyone know if they give you breakfast or cocktails or any little extras? Any trip reports and reviews would be so helpfull. I'm not sure if my 2 year old will even fit in a portable crib this year as he is 34" tall now, not sure where to let him sleep. We are really excited to take this trip and I'm stuck doing all the planning. Any help would be great. Thank you :)

depends upon how nice you are

the master has a king bed, in the livingroom is a queen sleeper sofa - the second bedroom can be different

we have one (at HGVC at SW) with queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa.

I have heard of ones with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom - also one queen bed and a double sleeper sofa...

so you may have to decide when you get there who sleeps where.

Also make sure YOU decide.

Thanks Spicey cat,

My big fear is that sister in law and neice will rush in ahead of me and steal the best room away! Just kidding, I will make a point of telling them before we go that we will get the master bedroom and I will try to be the first into the room so I can lay claim to it! lol! I first had a one bedroom booked with the idea that they could sleep on the sleeper sofa, but did not relish sharing the bathroom, thought it would be faster in the am for showers with more than one to use, also the kids go to bed early and it would be nice to have use of the living room to relax in. I plan to be very sweet and nice to everyone! I'm excited as my neice has never been to WDW she is 7 and is a big help with my 2 year old son. Thanks for your help once again. :flower:

we had a king bed in our "lock off" room.. but I guess it depends on what sort of room you have. You will get plenty of room at HGVC... i dont think you need worry about that.

There are no extras - no cocktails or breakfast. A very nice deli that does delicious breakfast stuff... like croissants etc.. but they do not provide breakfast.

You will just LOVe it there.. its gorgeous! Its our home from home!

Thanks Sammy G. I was wondering if all 2 bedrooms might be 1 bedroom suite with the lockoff studio or just standard 2 bedrooms suite, and if they had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 beds in the 2nd room, but I'm sure we'll be fine, it looked lovely from the photo, I saw. Heard about some people getting a welcome package with deli gift cert. and discounts on some local attraction coupons. That would be nice, we got spoiled in New York with Hiltons concierge lounge, the cont. breakfast and drinks and treats. Just can't wait! Thanks again :sunny:

yes you will get a welcome pack.. all the hotels give that sort of stuff..

it may well contain a deli gift certificate.. I cant remember.

They messed up our check in and we got free breakfast for a week... so i cant remember if we got anything else!

I think there are proper 2 beds...as well as the lock offs.. not sure!

Hey Connor's Mom!

See you at the pool! We will be the family of 6, Mom & Dad, 4 yr. girl and 1-1/2 yr. boy along with Nana and Papa! I am sure the kids will find each other if it is work enough!

We own at the HGVC Seaworld location, but traded into this one for our December trip. We found it so nice on the tour when we last visitied we had to book it! It also has High Speed in every room!

We are working our 13 month out of his crib in the fall and into the junior bed, so that we can have him sleep with his sister when we are there.

Our stay will be Dec. 3-10th.

Cheers,

Steve

Hello Steve,

Yes the place sounds really nice, I think we'll all have a great time. The kids are going to love it! We are going to Disney and to Fort Lauderdale to see the KingTut Exhibit and maybe lion Counrty Safari (Palm Beach) did this in March and it was alot of fun and an air boat ride while we are in the neighborhood. My 2 year old son has had an awful time recently not wanting to sleep in his room in his crib, I hope by the time we get there he'll be sleeping better. This will be my 7 year old neice's 1st trip and my son's 3rd trip. It just feels so far off at this moment! Hope to see you, we will be there 1st -10th of December, we got a 2 bedroom reservation. Planning is a lot of fun. Thank you, Conor's Mom :flower:
