Dear all,

we already booked our stay at Hotel Cheyenne for 4 nights and now we try to figure out if we should go for the half board option with vouchers or not. The restaurants we would like to visit are: Blue Lagoon, Walt's, one Character Breakfast, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

Am I right that there are three half board options?

Does anyone have any experience with that. Problem ist that Blue Laggon is only covered with the most expensive vouchers. Walt's is in the medium range. The character breakfast costs only EUR 17 (which would be a lost voucher) and Buffallo Bill's only requires an additional payment?

So I am absolutely confused. Furthermore I would be interested what breakfast is like at the Disney hotels. I only do know breakfast at WDW and it last's for the whole day with not need for lunch (except a small snack). Is breakfast at Paris also as vast or is it just enough to cover your needs until lunch.

Sorry if I seem a bit confused but I really could not figure out if half board is a good deal or not.:confused3

We had half board plus on our recent trip and with the restaurants we used felt we got good value.:thumbsup2

I think however the choice you have made are so varied in price range that I wonder if its better to go as normal as you will end up adding money to Buffalo Bills and Blue Lagoon if you used plus option and lose money if you get the top level and use vouchers on your breakfast.

Do you not have either shareholder or annual pass discount as that may be a better option in your case :goodvibes

We had Davy Crockett breakfast so cant speak for other hotels but as far as I know its self serve continental style with supplement for hot (Im sure someone will say If Im wrong)

Going on meal sizes at non buffett I dont think portions are WDW

sized !!:rotfl:

Breakfast is continetal of rolls, croisants, cereals, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, jams etc & some hotels have toast too with coffee, juice, tea, milk & hot chocolate.

You can eat as much as you want.

We used half board plus vouchers and definitely saved money - we used one for the Lucky Nugget character lunch (this would be more worth your voucher than the character breakfast if you were using vouchers), 2 for Auberge de cendrillon and one in Annette's, but rather than choosing from the restricted menu we just had the voucher money taken off the bill there.
