need help with epcot resort choice

We prefer boardwalk.
The view of the quiet pool is wonderful. Morning coffee on the balcony, not too much traffic and at that time of the year not many people using the pool. very quiet and relaxing.

A few years back we stayed at yacht club and enjoyed that also. Dinner at the steak house is very nice.
no matter what hotel you stay at you are in walking distance to so many nice places to eat. The bridge by epcot is a great place to watch fireworks at nite.

If you can swing it - do the Yacht Club

But if you would love Heavenly beds, wonderful oatmeal soaps, less kids running around, 20% off with AAA card at restaurants and an AAA discount - stay at the SWAN

I'm a BC & BCV fan personally, both with and without kids. The quiet pool at BCV is really nice. I believe that BC does not guarentee a full balcony though like YC does, but I still like BC better. My 2nd choice is BW or BWV since the night life is so close.

Wherever you pick that whole resort area is great - you'll have a blast!!!

Haven't stayed at Swan or Dolphin.

I don't think either BWI or YC/BC is better suited for adults. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Of the two, I far and away prefer the Beach Club. One of my many reasons is that you can get a room that overlooks the water and see the Boardwalk across the way.

Since you have decided on the Yacht Club, I'll tell you you've made a good choice. I would recommend requesting a room that isn't close to Stormalong Bay, if you like it quiet. Also, since you are requesting water view, I think some of the rooms that overlook the quiet pool are classified as water view. So if you want a view of the lake, be sure to request that, just in case. The quiet pool is tucked around the side of the resort closest to the Dolphin. Also, a restaurant that often gets overlooked is the Yacht Club Galley. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch (I've never had dinner there, so I can't say).

Boardwalk

we just came back from there ourselves and loved it. Being able to just step out of your room onto the boardwalk was great. Plus, walking to Epcot or MGM (that one is long) is very convienent

I will be booking in the morning abd hope to get a good room - the Swan and Dolphin are booked for our date - I am a teacher and really wanted to get the rates, but will be happy with anything in the epcot area.
