Need help with DL resorts

WDW vet going to DL for the first time. Need help deciding where to stay. Would you stay at the Grand Californian standard view or Disneyland premium view. It is only a $20 difference. Thanks for your help.

I agree. The Grand is much closer to everything than DLH is.

I think for that price difference I'd check out the Grand. BUT, who's in your party? What ages? Could make a difference, although I'm not sure it would. I am a sucker for a good view though... If you have kids in your party, the extra space at DLH, combined with the view, could just make a difference. That's the main reason we stayed at PPH. Love the view of the park.

I love the Grand, but it's a lot like WL, if you have stayed there. It does have the CA park entrance & the grounds are lush and cool. But, the DL hotel is more like "Disneyland", if that is the experience you are going for. And you can take the monorail INTO or out of the park! It runs from DTD to Tomorrowland.
Not sure I helped, just sharing my experiences, as a DLR vet then WDW vet!
