I want to surprise my kids with a Disney gift bag when we get to WDW in September.

My 4 year old dd's bag was easy: Princess sidewalk chalk, Princess coloring book, miniature Belle doll, miniature Cinderella doll, Princess tiara, Princess bubble wand, glow-sticks, Minnie Mouse light up fan (hand held), Princess lipgloss necklace, WDW name badge, disposable camera, Little Mermaid stickers.....all of this will go into a Tinkerbell beach bag.

I'm having an issue with my son's bag. Most things seem too baby-ish for him. I got him a cool Goofy duffel bag, but I don't know what to put in it. So far, I've gotten a WDW name badge, disposable camera, glow sticks, Mickey Mouse light up fan. I want to get him some more things that are hopefully Disney-themed and comparable to my dd's bag. Any ideas? :confused3

My DS is nine and I agree it is tough. Here are some things we have done...

Pin Lanyard and pins for trading
Belt Pack with some change for Arcade
Candy and Gum
A beach towel. Disneydeals has a really neat Space Mountain one.
Water Wallet--if you are going to a water park.
Disney themed toothbrush--Lion King, Incredibles, etc.
Disney Dollars
Disney themed pens or pencils
Photo album to put his own pics. that he takes with the disposable camera.
Hidden Mickey Book

Thanks for the ideas! That's a huge help. I keep reading about disneydeals, but I can't get the website to come up. Do you have any idea what that could be about? Thanks!

Gameboy advance ?
Mickey racing game
Finding Nemo game
Madagascar game

great for plane/car ride to WDW

Kids guide book to WDW (if your first trip) - Birnbaum (spelling ?)
It'll be my kids 3rd trip - my DS teenager and DD tween still like to
read it. More pictures than wordy tour guide books.

Above a bit more expensive than glow sticks.

If you are doing Fantasmic - get all kids glow sticks.
Great to have during the show.

I also bring Disney themed toothpaste and Disney themed bathroom cups.
It's amazing how older kids never out grow Disney - but will NEVER
admit it to their friends (except for other Disney families)

I put together bags for my three kids also. I put inthings for them to do on the ride down from NH (such as card games, word search puzzles, etc) and while we are there I got Epcot passports, autograph books & pens, pennies/quarters in M&M tubes for pressed pennies, a pressed penny book, mister fans, things like that. I have a feeling they'll be through the bag an hour into the ride though!

Our Target has Travel size games such as Battleship, Guess Who? and a Basketball Game on clearance in the toy department.

If you have Disney store in your area check them out. The one by me has a lot of stuff on sale that might work for you. Disney character T-shirts :earsboy: (wide variety) are 3 for $22, character beach towels are $7.99, and there are many other things to choose from.

Good luck. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I heard about a cool handheld game here on the DIS called 20Q. It asks you 20 questions and it will guess what you are thinking of- very cool and I have tried very tricky things and it always guesses it. It was $12.99 at Target but I think it is cheaper at Walmart.

It's quiet and is the size of a Yo-Yo. My 8 year old is a little young so your 10 yr old should love it!

PS- I kepp catching my hubby playing with it!

Chinese yo-yos
Magazines in his interest area (comics, MAD, Racing)
Travel-size Simon, yahtzee, etc
Mad Libs
Those really fun trivia type books with a special pen, you're given a question, then color the space to find out the answer. My brother loved those growing up.
The new Harry Potter book...or the first in paperback (really great)
A homemade gc for a pressed penny book along with a bunch of coins, and a list of where to find the machines

We're a car traveling family. Mom's the only one allowed in the surprise car bag. I dole out treats at intervals to keep the natives from getting restless. Bought a couple things at Bed, Bath and Beyond today...but that's another thread! :goodvibes

They have some great wdw hand held games you could get your son. Checkout the toy stores I have seen Disney Uno and some other games. If you don't have a Pal Mickey it is really cool he tells you tons of info about the park. Disney dollars are good also. :earsboy:

ok I have a list. I think this will help

Target has:
handheld travel games
gum/candy
cheap pool stuff
pillow to autograph with friendly people U meet /characters/memories
water balloons (KIDS LOVE THESE)
disposable camera

Disney store has
fave character mechandise
disney mag
wdw 4 kids by kids latest edition
disney dvds
disney attraction music

U can make
a disney coupon book (1 Free admission 2 ride any ride twice etc...)
mom and dads video guide to disney ( watch before U leave)

I hope this helped!!!

Have a great time-*Dizchick05* :sunny: :sunny:

I have a 12 DS. It is so much harder. I asked him if he wanted a name tag, as I bought DD one. He said NO!
So far I got:
NEMO wash cloth from Disney Store
NEMO go fish card game
glow sticks from walmart
disposable camera
shrek candy dispenser
battery fans from walmarts that came in colors
Gum

Walmarts has little game books with coloring and games. I just saw them so I have to go back there with out the kids. They had the incredibles and Pooh.
