Need help with DIS email

Ever since I registered with the UK DIS boards ( a few days ago), I have been recieving emails from both the US and UK boards every time someone replies to a thread that I once responded to. I checked the "edit options" on both the US and UK sites to find that I needed to change them. How the US option got changed I'll never know, but be that as it may, I changed it back. The problem lies with the UK DIS. I've tried changing it two or three times and every time I click to submit changes, my computer goes nuts and ultimately freezes.

Needless to say, I'm still receiving the emails and it's driving me crazy

How can I stop this madness??????

I'm not sure about the problem with the computer going nuts. I haven't every signed up on the UK board and tried to change options over there.

As for getting the e-mails to stop on the threads to which you've already posted:

Go to your > user cp. Down near the bottom of that page you should see a section titled Subscribed Threads. At the top right of that section is View All Subscribed Threads. Click on that. On the new page, right under Private Messaging and above the list of threads, you will see Unsubscribe From All Threads. Click on that and it should stop e-mails from existing threads to which you've posted.

As I think you already know, turning off Use 'Email Notification' by default? in your Options will keep you from being automatically subscribed to new threads when you post to them.

I just checked your set-up on the UK Boards and it already shows that you are not down for email replies now, so hopefully if you un-subscribe from all your current threads as Bob described, everything should be fixed! If not, just hollar my friend
