I know you all will give some great input so here goes....
Long story short.... I booked room only Polynesian LV Concierge (at a great rate about 1/2 off with TA discount) and then booked MYW Park Hopper tickets no dining option (not available with TA discount) for a total cost of around $2300 for 5 nights 6 days. This is completly paid for. Well.... as things happen my company downsized and guess who got it... ME! Ok, so here is the dilema.... should I change my reservation to a moderate with the MYW plan with dining for a total cost of around $2100, this would include food. I love the idea of being on the monorail and being in concierge but I dont know if I can justify the additional expense for food. Make sense??
Ideas, suggestions???? I am definately at a loss of what to do.
Thanks!

Sorry about the downsizing! But congrats on your pregnancy! 14 weeks! How exciting!

I think you got a great rate, and as long as you won't feel guilty or think you will regret it later, go for it! :cheer2:

Thanks Diz, I appreciate it!
We got to see the first ultrasound the other day and the little critter was sure bouncing around! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the support!

Well, this is what I would do... :)

Stay with your Polynesian plans. It is a BEAUTIFUL resort, great location, and the convience of the concierge (in its own building) is a big plus. AND...if you have a lagoon view you will be able to see THE CASTLE from your room!! How cool is that?!? :)

Congratulations on your pregnancy! :) Is this your first child? If so, then your life is going to change completely - use this vacation as your last splurge and enjoy your time with your - dh? so? - your last alone time before the baby comes.

Go and enjoy yourself.

Jill

I am sorry to hear about the layoff, but great news about the baby!!

Could you downgrade the room and save money that way? Stay at the POLY
still, just a regular room?

IF not, you must decide if you feel it is worth the extra money to stay there.
The moderates are just as nice and if you dont plan on spending tons of time at the MK/Epcot, then the not having the monorail would be ok.
I understand how hard it is to decide these things, but sit back for a minute and really ask yourself which you should do. The little voice in your head will tell you--any guilt usually comes from us not wanting to listen to the "voice" in our head. I believe you really know the answer it is just hard to accept sometimes.

LEt us know what you decide! I think you will have a ball either way, because Disney is Magical and you'll get your mind of your troubles for a while!

take care!! :flower1:

you will get "some food" from the concierge level room....I think you got a great rate that will not be available to you again and splurge if you can...the room is paid for...what type of trip are you planning...will it be in the parks almost always then go for the moderate as it is "just a place to sleep" and I would suggest POR...if you have planned in time to relax at the resort or plan to go back to the room frequently during the day the you must stick with the POLY ! :)
