We have a Kodak 3.2 camera, pretty basic one, with a Smart Digital 128 mb card. My card currently has 139 pictures on it and it says I have room for 42 more. The picture quality is set for "BEST". So that's about 180 pictures.

I was just thinking the other day that I probably should buy an additional/larger card for when we go to Disney in December. I guess I need to figure out how many pics we are likely to take first!

Depends how many MP camera you have.
I have a 5MP camera with a 512 mb card and it holds about 350 pics

I have 3.2 MP camera and have a 256 MB card - 130 pictures at best level. We took our laptop along and were unloading the pictures everyday. All the pictures fit on one CD at the end of the week - @ 700 pictures. We didn't have a problem with the pictures everyday - but had to change out battery everyday. If you don't have a laptop - might think of an extra card.

I have the same camera and I love it also-although I do wish the zoom was a bit better.

I get about 160 pictures on a 128 card with it set on best picture setting. When we went to WDW in the spring I had a 128 and 256 card and was a little bit conservative taking pics and made it on those two. This fall before WDW I bought another 128 card (had a gift card I got from a rebate and got the 128 card essentially free) and I came close to filling all three cards. I was not at all conservative about taking pics and took lots of the pics I wished I had taken last time.

I don't have a laptop to bring and did not want to worry about emptying my cards while there so having the extra cards was well woth it to me.

I would definetly recommend another card probably at least a 256.

Thanks I think I will buy another card. I have a few disposable cameras for the kids.

You might want to check all the settings - I know there are two different things on my camera that I can change, maybe it's megapixels and compression, or something like that. When I have both things set to give the best quality prints/largest file size, I'll fit about 128 pics on a 128MB card with my 2 MP camera. So I'd expect a 3.2 MP camera to fit less than 128 if everything is set at the highest quality.
