Need help with Deluxe Dining Plan

Dining on the Deluxe Dining plan ( 4 people 2 adults, 6 year old and a 4 year old). I plugged in all my meals into the Dining planner calculator and can't figure out why i have to pay out of pocket for the QS breakfast on March 14, day of checkout. Am I missing something?

March 12-14

March 12: Lunch - T-Rex 1 TS Credit
March 12: Dinner - Chef Mickey 1 TS Credit

March 13: Breakfast - The wave 1 TS credit
March 13: Lunch - Be our guest - 1 QS Credit
March 13: Dinner - Cinderellas Royal Table 2 TS Credit

Mach 14: Breakfast - Port Orleans - riverside food court 1 QS Credit


Why would i have to pay for the Mach 14 QS breakfast when I have food credits available?

Dining plans are based on the number of nights you are staying at a resort. It looks like you are staying 2 nights so you will each have 6 dining credits. Because CRT is 2 credits per person you will not have any credits left for breakfast on March 14.

I had the same issue with this because I didn't realize the dining plan is associated with the amount of nights you stay at the resort hotel.

I'm staying April 2-9 so I thought since I had 7 day tickets, I had 7 days of dining. This is not the case. I even asked if I could add on another day to dining and the only way to do that is to add another night onto the hotel reservation.

I would use some of your snack credits for your breakfast on the 14th. Or pay OOP. Breakfst is the least expensive meal to pay for.

Dining credits expire at midnight of the day you check out. You can still have breakfast, lunch, or dinner including your snack credits on check out day; This is true even if you have already checked out. All of our trips we have had breakfast on our checkout morning and a few of those have been after we have already checked out. Many times we have also loaded up our bags from the Boardwalk Bakery or Main Street Bakery with unused snack credits for the return home after checking out as well.

You are correct, and it hasn't changed yet. As another post mentioned, the reason why the original OP is being charged for a breakfast on checkout is they exceeded their total of credits.

You can't exchange but u can use snack credits for some breakfast. Idk what exactly specifically at POR food court.

Not correct. They expire at midnight the day you check out. You can use the credits up until midnight on the day you check out.

Deluxe dining plan credits can be used for either TS or QS, so no confusion there. They just have too many credits for the nights they are staying.
