Need help with buying a jogging stroller (Baby Jogger)

We are going to purchase a new jogging stroller for our upcoming trip. Reading a lot on the boards has me very interested in the Baby Jogger City Classic single stroller, and it receives great reviews online. Here's our dilemma: I can't fine one anywhere except online. I'm hesitant to buy one online without ever having seen one, felt how it glides, etc. My greatest concern is the handlebar height. My husband and I are both very tall, so a regular handlebar on your typical stroller is usually too short for us. It causes us to bend over too much and makes it uncomfortable for extended use like at Disney.
1. So...can anyone tell me specifically about the handlebar height? I read that the handlebar is adjustable; will it go up pretty high?
2. Does anyone know of any store that carries these that one can look at them in person?
3. If the only place to find them is online, are there any hidden surprises I might should know about before purchasing this stroller? (Whether it's something I'll love or hate about it)

Thanks everyone! I'm just nervous about making such a large purchase online w/out not having seen the product first hand.

You will LOVE the BJ. We also have the Classic and it is the best stroller. It is great for tall people, I am only 5'1 but dh is 6'1 and the handles adjust comfortably for both of us. They go very high. He actually asks to push it on trips because it is so comfy for him to reach, no hunching over at all. I don't know stores that carry it but if you go online you can most likely do a search for local retailers.

We bought ours (and lots of other items) from albeebaby.com They have great prices and free shipping over $100. I would highly recommend purchasing from them. They have great customer service.

I have the City Mini double, and I know what you mean about it being hard to find a store! If you go on the BabyJogger website, it has a store finder. But you also have to call the store to make sure they have your model in stock. I lived near Philadelphia, and it was still crazy hard to find a store.

I think the handlebar is pretty high on mine. I'm 5'7 and DH is 5'9, and we both like it. All I can suggest is, make sure you order from a store with a GREAT return policy just in case.

I will also add: the City Classic isn't a jogging stroller. It's definitely not made for non-paved areas. The wheels are bigger than the City Mini, and both handle just great, but it's still a sidewalk vehicle.

Happy hunting!

I have the BJCM and know what you are talking about- not being able to try one out. That was my concern when ordering by mail. I ordered my previous stroller from albeebaby.com, but you have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee if you dont keep the stroller, so I didnt want to order the BJCM from them in case I didnt like it. A fellow Diser suggested diapers.com and they will price match other sites. The bonus was that if you dont like the stroller you can return it and they will pay the return shipping. Also, if it is your first order you get an extra 10% off plus the price match if you find it cheaper somewhere else. I ordered and love the stroller, thank goodness, so no need to send it back. The handle on my BJCM is very tall, so I would think it would be the same on the classic.

Thanks for everyone's feedback.
blessedby3--thanks for the info for the particular site for buying online; I will definitely look into this!

Sorry I double posted. For some reason after I posted, it wasn't showing my post from my end so I posted the same message again in hopes that it would show. Well, it did--only twice. Sorry!

If you are going to use Disney Transportation for your trip, make sure you can handle the stroller when it is folded up because you can't take a stroller on a bus that is not folded up.

Make sure you get a stroller with a front wheel that swivels and not one that is fixed.
