Please don't flame me for not designing her room Disney
- but I want to put different pictures from Dr. Seuss on to 8x8 or 10x10 canvases and hang them on her wall. DD has the Mammut set from Ikea in red/pink and it is kind of Seussical on it's own. She does love Princesses, but I think Dr. Seuss may appeal better to my DFi. SOO... here in lies my problem... what is the best avenue to achieve this? I was thinking of copying pages onto my scanner and then printing them out and Gesso'ing them to the canvas... will the colors bleed, will the colors fade? Should I take the scanned images to my local CVS and have them printed out with photo quality inks and paper? Should I get really adventurous and attempt to sketch them out on the canvases and paint them by hand...? I am open to any help and suggestions. I also figure that this will be an inexpensive way to switch out wall art as she gets older.
