Need Help with a Surprise

Hi all! Going to WDW in June and it will be a surprise for my 10 yo DD. She thinks we are going to Sea World San Antonio.

Any ideas on how I can tell her on the day we are leaving? She is going to know something is going on when we board a plane for Orlando rather than San Antonio.

Does she get an allowance? When I surprised my boys last February with a trip, I held off on their allowance until the day we were leaving, and gave it to them in Disney Dollars. Lots of hootin' & hollerin' when they opened those envelopes!

This is a cute idea!

I read on here once that a mom snuck outside and put a package from Mickey out there and rang the doorbell (I think the person who did that got locked outside though, so be careful if you go this route ).

When you get to the airport, you could hand her a copy of the Birnbaum book for kids and tell her it's for reading on the plane and see if she figures it out from there.

You can get Disney dollars at your local Disney store.

Disney Dollars work great, as does a Park Hopper Pass. When was the last time she went to WDW? Some brochures or the Birnbaum book would be great for the plane. Her excitement will need to be channeled.

These are all such good idea's. Another fun idea that you could do is get matching Mickey Mouse t-shirts that you all could wear, at your local Disney Store. And have them in your carry on and just before you get on the airplane, you could pull them out and say we are "GO TO WALT DISNEY WORLD"!!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful trip and remember to take lot's of pictures!

Here's an idea...after you get to the airport ask her if she could go anywhere in the USA where would she go? Hopefully she'll say Disney World, and you can say OK!!! Disney it is!!

Wow! You all are very creative.

Def. gonna get some Disney Dollars.

She has never been to DW and every time I have asked her where she would go she has said that.

Gonna keep all these in my log of how to surprise her.
