What were the names of the 3 proposed hotels that were never built that were to be located on the Seven Seas Lagoon (lake near the Magic Kingdom) and were scheduled to be opened between 1971 and 1974?

Don't know the names but one was to be Mediterranean themed

Here's an excellent history post, by Jack Spence, about WDW hotels that were never built, around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. I didn't come across any actual hotel names, just names based on the proposed hotels' architectural and cultural themes. This post is full of aerial pictures and artists' concepts. The Asian Resort had been planned for. A square of reclaimed land was put in, but the resort didn't get built. The Grand Floridian now stands on this plot, which has been altered from a square and enlarged.

The second proposed hotel, between the TTC and the Contemporary Resort, would be a Venetian Resort. It was later re-imagined as a Mediterranean resort, like a Greek Isle. After further engineering studies, it was decided super-deep pilings would be needed on this unstable land, and that made the development cost too prohibitive. It is currently just planted with trees and vegetation.

The third, a Persian Resort, was planned for north of the Contemporary, facing Bay Lake. It would be just east of MK Tomorrowland Speedway, and had a Monorail spur and station planned.
