Need Help with a math project for DS8 (poll)

DS8 has a math project due on May 13. Here is what he needs to do.

Students are required to make a graph. Students are to ask 20 people the question they selected. The students will have to make a tally chart for the repsonses. After the questions are asked and the tally chart is complete, then the students will have to create a bar graph of the results.

The title of his graph is "What is Your Favorite Video Game"

His choices for games titles are above. Thanks for your help

He doesn't have an email account and not too many friends to ask. Pretty much the friends he does have are in his class and that's only 8 kids including himself. There aren't too many kids in our neighborhood.

I put Mario Kart on there because it was my favorite of the ones listed, but currently my favorite game is Forza Motorsports 3 for Xbox.

My DS7 just did the same project. He asked people what their favorite fast-food fries were. Wendy's won by a landslide.

Just curious but why would he be limited to only asking kids?? I am just asking as I have an 8 year old and she will call relatives and ask them as well or ask teachers or other adults.

She has even asked the nurses at our ped's office while getting her allergy shot.

She will tell everyone I am a mean mom cause I won't ask for her.

Not too many adults we know play video games. DH plays the DS, Wii as well as the online type (the online games are with co-workers), but not too many of our adult friends play those. If DS chose a different subject, then yes, he could have asked adults.

Really? That's surprising. Several of my adult cousins all play Xbox/Playstation and have a Wii for the kids. I'm a science major at school and I know a lot of people that play video games there too that are adults, including at least 1 of my professors!

Many of those titles have more than one game. He should be a bit more specific about which games he's referring to.

Like there's a million and one Star Wars games, and Mario Kart has been out on almost all the Nintendo platforms. And of all the actually good Sonic games, he picked Sonic Colors?? If he'd just put Sonic, the originals are my absolute favorite.

I would choose Star Wars if it is Lego, because I do think that is pretty cool.

I just could not get into the first player driven of FF, although I did buy 13. It really ticks me off. However, I would have to pick Final Fantasy as my favorite. I am playing 8 again. I am 46.

I have a Wii, XBOX360, Gamecube, & PS2 that I still play today. Have not gotten a PS3 yet....I don't have an HDTV so I won't upgrade until then. It is just principal there.

Oh and now I can give my brother trouble today...Mr. PS3 is the best thing in the universe......yea right baby.....how about the Sony Hackfest? That I am looking forward to.

I personally would not let my daughter bother my neighbors or relatives with such silliness- no way would I make them interupt what they were doing to answer the phone to be asked what their favorite whatever was!

Well it is a built in blu ray player. Many of the original PS1 titles are available for download for like $10. But you still have to wait through load times. On the plus side, you don't have to worry about your memory card crashing and deleting all your favorite saves.

It's been kind of boring with the hackfest, and we've been watching a lot of netflix (still possible even with the server down). But it's not the end of the world.

And Sony is not the only one to have their servers compromised. I've received more than one card from the bank before "as a precaution".
