My family and i are going to disney in august and right now we have reservations for crystal palace but am starting to question whether it is worth it because the youngest person in our party is 12 and not into characters at all. There are not that many full service resturants in the MK and i thought this place sounded good but now I am wondering if this would not just be one big headache in the making. Any help would be great.:confused3

I've only been to Crystal Palace for breakfast, but I liked it.

This may sound odd, but if your 12 year old isn't into characters and can't deal with one meal, Disney might not be the best choice.

Even if your kids aren't into the Winnie the Pooh characters the food at Crystal Palace is still very good. :thumbsup2 It's also a great place to relax and cool down a little from the heat. :goodvibes We've only eaten lunch here on several occasions but have thought that it was one of the best buffets in WDW. You'll just be paying a little more because it's a character meal. You could also take the boat from MK to WL to eat at Whispering Canyon or hop on the monorail and go to Kona Cafe or Ohana's at the Polynesian. Since you already have your ADR at Crystal Palace there should be no headaches in the making.:)
