Need Help With 2nd Grade Homework!

I can't for the life of me figure out this "Vegetable Riddle":

I can be red, green or yellow
and I'm packed with vitamin C
I help your body form a scar
if you fall and scrape your knee.

The answer is two words

I thought of peppers or onions, but can't make it work with the spaces?
