Need Help - Wishes Cruise

I need some help. Tomorrow is my big day, I have to try to get the wishes cruise for October 4th.... I already gave it to my mom as a mothers day gift, (so I am praying for some pixie dust to get it - Also I put a disclaimer on the gift that if I couldnt get it then I would give her something else, but she wants it really bad)

So I need some help...
What is the best number to call...
What time do I start calling...
What numbers do I press....
Any other strageries that could increase my chances...

There is a thread on the Theme Parks board about Illuminations Cruises, you use the same things to get the Wishes Cruise, only you ask for the Wishes cruise of course. The # is 407-WDW-PLAY.

at 7 AM, call 407-WDW-PLAY. you will hear a lot of talk about golf and recreation. if i remember this correctly, and i only did it last week, you press 3 for other recreation activities, then they'll ask you for your WDW ressie number or home phone number, then press one if you've been to WDW before, 1 if you've been there more than 4 times since 1998 or 2 if you haven't, and then you should either hear disney music or get connected. wishes cruises, from what i understand, are not as popular as illuminations. when i called for illuminations, it was all booked up for the week! wishes was available however so there's a good sign for you. good luck and tell us how it all went.

How much did they say your cruise was? On the Oct. thread a poster said as of Oct. 1st the prices were going up $$$$ That would definately change my plans for Oct & Dec. for getting a boat!

Liz,

I was so excited that I actually got it, that I did not hear anything else the lady was saying. Honestly, we wanted this so bad, I would have paid $500 for it. My mom loves fireworks and boats.

I am looking at my notes, looks like she told me at one point it was $140.80 and then later on $187.79 plus tax. So it looks like $187.79.
Oh well, we don't vacation very often, so I am willing to spend some extra money for us to enjoy it.

Did I mention, how excited I am that I got the Wishes Cruise!!!!!!

I booked one for October 1st and was given a price of $187.79+tax. Operator said it was the first day for the new prices and she was trying to figure out the new computer screens. Price includes snacks (popcorn, chips, pretzels), soda and water.
