I was wondering if you could tell me what color your bathroom is? You see I am decorating-impaired and I have to call the painter and tell him what color I picked. (Yes It has been 2yrs+ in our brand new house and we still have the crummy builders grade paint).

Sooo...the room it is just the downstairs half bath & was wondering what your bathroom is?
Is it a warm or cold color?

Thanks

a green and white bathroom doenstairs. It's actually not that bad - we just replaced the toilet, vanity, sink and had the tub refinished last month, all in white. We stayed with the green because the tiles in the bathroom were in excellent shape. Our upstairs bathroom is blue and cream.

just redid our downstairs bathroom in RED.....and I love it.....it is a mickey bathroom, and we used knockout red on the bottom half of the wall, and the top half is a warm off white called flagstaff (both Behr paints from HD) and in between we have a "mickey & the gang" wallpaper border.

Our bathroom is a tropical blue and white. The bathroom itself is very small, and blue is not only a calming color, but one that will make a small room appear larger, seemed the logical choice when I redid my bathroom a couple of years ago.

We have a fairly small bathroom and it's yellow. Kind of a buttery yellow color. Looks all warm and sunny in there! :) *shower curtain and accessories are sort of a bluish purple with yellow*

All my bathrooms are white...I am a color chicken. But the good thing is...that when i'm ready for color it will be easy since everything is white.

We have been in our house 5yrs and the majority of the house has builders paint. Our 1/2 bath was painted/decorated last February after being in the house 4yrs. It is a brown that is in the cherub angels border. I only accomplish one project a year and after this kitchen project I don't think I will be completing any decorating projects for a good 10 yrs.

DDs bathroom is decorated in fish....still has the builder paint:rolleyes:

we decided to keep it very neutral.....so beige....tan...ecru...whatever it is called this year.....we did it......now this way I can change assessories to match the season or a holiday or my own WHIM....so we have cereamic tiles on the walls and also little bitty ceramic tiles on the floor too.....only thing it is very very cold on the toes

Hey amid...I was thinking a neutral color, like tan:rolleyes: . I am afraid too...
Now Boos Mom that is a bold step and dh would think I am bananas.
I am picking a burgundy for the dining room and study and I told him he has to just live with it.

pumba, you know that is what I am leaning towards, hmmm now I am really confused.:p

Color, no color...aaaahhh

My downstairs in neutral with green maroon towels and curtin, my upstairs is neutral but 13 yrs ago when we build the house I put rose tiles on the floor I hate it but so to much $$$$$$$ to change that so I just ad a muted green like a moss green to the accesories and it doesnt look bad. :D

Mine was recently done in a Grecian theme. Tiled walls and floors and the colors are chocolate brown, light brown, beige, and cream. The sink and counter are granite. I got my insipration from Burlington Coat factory and the Christopher Lowell collection. So much better than the 1976 era green linoleum and fake marble that was in there...

My upstairs bathroom is 3 different shades of purple, working on a princess theme but not quite done. It would probably be overwhelming for something other than a kids bathroom, and then only for girls but it should be very nice when finished.

My extra bath downstairs I'm going to paint kind of a lime green stripe, it will have a Pooh & friends theme and I bought wallpaper but I've just decided to paint the same pattern instead of doing wallpaper.

My master bath is done in a sandstone block painted effect. It has cream colored "grout" lines and I've had contractors come into my BR and think that it was really large sandstone blocks on the walls.

The kids bath is done in fish. To make the walls look like the frothy surf, I painted the walls white then I sponged a country blue and a country green onto the walls. It looks really good.

The bath in the basement we did last year. We put up wainscoating and a chair rail and painted taupe above the rail. We painted that one color because my DH said he didn't believe that I could just paint a room one color anymore. I am all about painting techniques throughout the house.

Plum purple, that sounds definetly warm...

RUDisney, now wainscoating, chair rails...now I am jealous. I would LOVE some of that in my study & dining room. I even imagine it in my kitchen.
*I watch too many old movies* LOL
