Hi,

I hope I won't get flamed for cross posting here - but I originally had this posted on the Resort Board, but I think it would be better suited here, with all of the knowledgable moms and dads, so I hope you all don't mind me posting it again here.

We are staying at BWV end of Sept. w/ dd, 2.5. I've been trying to keep a list of what to put in for our wegoshop order, but I know I am missing lots of things! We are hoping to eat most of our breakfasts in the room, and we'll need some snacks, plus a few things for if we decide to eat a lunch or dinner in the room. I don't want to overspend, and have a lot left over, but I also think that if I plan it right, it might save us some money on spending food in the parks. Can anyone help with suggestions on what you had on your list for wegoshop, and if I'm missing anything that might be helpful? My list so far is below. Thanks!

Pullups for dd
Swim diapers for dd
Baby Wipes
donuts
cereal
OJ
milk
Bread
Butter
eggs
Cheese
wine and beer - for those nites on the patio!
Fruit Snacks
Chips/Crackers
Oranges/Apples
Lunchmeat
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Juice Boxes
Frozen pizza?

That's all I can think of so far. Thanks again for your help! :wave2: :earsgirl: :goodvibes

Paper plates, cups , silverware?
My kids love banana's
Bagels & cream cheese were a hit also
Ziplock bags?

Oops..just realized where you're staying, you won't need the paper tableware. I was thinking about our trip when we stayed at POP we needed that stuff.

How about spaghetti/sauce for a quick meal? Granola bars to munch on in the parks. Bottled water.

www.wegoshop.com

It's a grocery shopping service. You submit your order online and then they will shop for you and bring your groceries to your resort, for a fee.

Here is a list of the items that I sent to Wegoshop. Looks pretty much like your list! ;) We are going to WDW on Saturday, and taking our 2.5 and 6 year old grandsons. I didn't want to over-buy, but wanted to make sure that we had at least breakfast and some lunches and snacks covered.

Originally, I had diapers/swim diapers on my list, but went ahead a purchased them on sale at Target. I wasn't sure if these items would be overpriced at Publix.

1 case of water 16-20 oz., Deer Park if available (approximately 28 bottles)
3 gallons spring water (for coffee and tea)
½ gal whole milk
½ gal chocolate milk
1dz eggs
8 oz tub butter
Small tub of light cream cheese
1/3 lb white American cheese -
1/2 lb turkey breast
1 medium size bag Lays or Wise potato chips
1 bag peanut lovers or traditional Chex mix
1 pkg Plain , mini- Lenders or mini-Peppridge Farms bagels (or regular size if no “mini” available/not frozen)
1 loaf whole wheat bread
peanut butter
jam/jelly
bananas
individual apple sauce cups
1 small can Folgers breakfast blend or Columbian ground coffee
1 box nature valley peanut butter granola bars
1 box /8pk cheese crackers w/peanut butter (sandwich crackers)
12-pack 100% juice, juice boxes, any brand
Small jar of mayonnaise
fruit snacks

These are great ideas! Thanks so much. Keep 'em coming!

ps - This is why I'm so glad I posted this - how could I have forgotten coffee and our dd favorite banannas??? :earboy2:

We plan on in-room dining because it is too exhausting for us to eat dinner in a restaurant every night with 3 kids. Plus it ensures we eat healthy at least a couple of nights. So our order also includes:
frozen veggies,
fresh baby carrots,
salad & dressing
apples & grapes
and a couple of frozen chicken/pasta/veggie concoctions
linguini (perfect for kids with some salt, butter, and cheese)

for the parks:
bottled water
goldfish pretzels
ziploc bags
granola bars (breakfast)
styrofoam cups (so we can bring our morning beverages with us to the bus stop or in the car)

Next time we will also include TOILET PAPER. I would gladly spend $2 not to spend a week with that sandpaper that WDW provides!

The folks at wegoshop are great. Have a great trip.

Our last stay at WL we used wegoshop and were quite pleased. Their prices are very reasonable ($15 for orders up to $100). The one thing I forgot to pack that time was my own soap. In 30 years of traveling, that's the first time I forgot my soap. I can't use Ivory--it eats my skin off. I've found many hotels use Ivory (probably because its cheap). I could tell from the smell that the Mickey soap was Ivory. We didn't use it. I got by with a bar of facial soap and used shampoo as a body wash. I wasn't going to place an order with wego shop for a bar of soap! However, I asked and all the hotels at Disney use the Mickey/Ivory soap. So, if you have any type of skin problems, either bring your own or put it with your wegoshop order.

I have a lot of the same stuff but I am adding the Smuckers lunchable peanut butter and jelly frozen sandwiches. I am planning on bringing them into the park with us with our Gatorade.
