Need help w/Trip Insurance

I have a question regarding trip insurance. I'm in the process of trying to secure (rent) a reservation from a DVC owner. I've rented twice successfully, but I always fear that one of the kids will get too sick to travel and we've lost our money. This time it's just me and my husband, but I still worry one of the kids will get ill and we have to cancel. If I purchase trip insurance to cover my airfare and fees paid for the reservation and have to cancel with legitimate reasons as covered by insurance (with no refund from owner) I'm assuming I'll be able to get a full refund from insurance company??

Can anyone recommend an insurer?

Hello,

Most trip cancellation coverage will reimburse any pre-paid, non-refundable payments. It is important to understand what and who is covered, and double check the "exclusions" section of the policy.
