Need help w/stopping point from Nashville, TN

My mother and I are taking my 2 girls for a "Girls Only" trip to WDW. We have to wait til she gets off work to leave(4-5 pm). I need to stop at a hotel about midnight. Is there any Nashville, TN folks out there that can help me with a stopping point. Looking at the map, Valdosta is a bit to far. I was thinking Macon, GA. Any ideas out there?
