Need Help Uploading Photos

Can anyone help me on what's the easiest way to upload pictures to a post? I have tons of pics from WDW vacations of past and present, joined photobucket, but I still think I'm doing something wrong. When I click on "Insert Image" why does it ask fdor an URL? Can't I just upload a file? Thanks.

You need to read the FAQ thread here and take a look at the Video Tutorial-- both at the top of this page. They will explain what you need to do.

OK I'm lost. I went to the FAQ & it told me to go to the Control panel (did that) & click on Pictures & Albums? but I could find that no where? I have some great WDW pictures I'd like to post.

Let's see if I can explain this for you because it's really simple. Once you have all of your pictures uploaded to Photobucket, you will see three or four links underneath each photobucket picture. You will need to click on and copy the bottom/last link under the picture you want to post on the Disboards. Then, come back to the Disboards and paste the link to the thread you want to post the picture on. Click Submit Reply and your picture should appear.

Ooooh, while we're on this topic, I figured out how to post them here, but how to size them? I watched the video but I don't have the link he says to click on to get to the medium size...anyone?

Where are you uploading them to?

I uploaded them to Photobucket, and am able to post them here OK, Just don't know how to size them down like the video shows....this is the only size I get...

In Photobucket you have 2 options. For what you have already uploaded click on Edit and then in the edit window there will be an option to "resize".

For new uploads you can actually set your account to upload at the size you want. They keep changing things though and I can't find where you do that now, and I have something else chugging on my computer right now so I can't explore.
