Just updated to the DxDP. Called and made a bunch of ADRS, but could not get any tables at CRT or Donald's Saffari Breakfast. And there are zero Fantasmic Packages available anywhere.

Anyway DW have enough credits left over for 4 more meals and we were hoping you'd have some recommendations for changes or additions to our current itinerary shown below.

What about adding some breakfasts? Maybe you could get some ADRs to get into the park early? Really who needs sleep on a vacation??? :) Keep trying for CRT table is seems that table often open up at the last minute. Or seeing that you have early ADRs you can save the credits for a CS meal if you get hungry or a pizza in the room (2 credits). Good luck!

Are you looking for a resort restaurant? Park restaurant? (love your spreadsheet by the way).

We're considering Boma on AK day, but getting there will be a hassle. Unless we take a cab, but our cab budget is getting up there.

Thanks!

Doesn't really matter where, but we want to avoid getting up before 7am, so it should be something we can get to and still get to the parks before all of the early Fast Passes are gone. We have busy days and don't want to get burned out before Valentines Day.

For breakfast, our favorite is Crystal Palace at the MK with Pooh and friends (and yes at the age of 56 and 51, DH and I still do it); we love the Plaza Restaurant at the MK--especially after all the heavy meals we eat on the dining plan, this is a nice place for a good salad or sandwich and great desserts; also enjoy Rose & Crown at Epcot. We had a really nice breakfast at Pepper Market--good omelets and potatos.

I'd probably ditch H&V and try the Brown Derby on Friday.

I'd switch Ohana for Jiko.

Both of those are conditional on going as a couple - if I had kids with me, I wouldn't make either of those changes.

Tony's -MK
Mamma Mel -HS
Chef Mic - CR BK or Din
Teppen Edo- Epcot
Tutto -Epcot
Coral Reef - Epcot
LCC- Epcot
Kona Cafe for BK or Din
Wave - CR

I have to say that this is an awesome itinerary. My family makes fun of me when I do one for our trips, but mine is not as detailed as yours.. I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who does this :)

What she said. :)

On Friday... ditch dinner at Backlot Express and go over to AKL and eat at Jiko. You will not be sorry!!!! LOL The food is amazing, it is a very nice restaurant and the service is impeccable!!!

Why not? They can be kid friendly and I like your suggestion with kids anyway.

Ok, fair enough - just that Ohana is FUN, and Jiko is ... classy and delicious and lingering.

H&V is gross, but I never think of the Brown Derby with kids. But ok, say, either way then.

CAUTION on the suggestion above about Bistro - it's not ON the Dining Plan, so that's a throwaway for using your meal points (not even remotely commenting on the value of eating there OOP, I've never eaten there. But if you need to use your TS credits, Bistro isn't helpful).

Oh! I didn't realize Bistro was not on the plan!! I'm sorry I always paid OOP for it. Ill edit that post!

I think I'd either plan a few more breakfasts or add in a couple of signature dining experiences (2TS credit meals) as they are generally some of the better restaraunts on property.

Jiko
California Grill
Citricos
Narcoosees
Yachtsman's Steakhouse
Flying Fish
Artist Point

Check the menus & see what appeals to you. If I missed any, someone will let us know. ;)

Sounds a lot better than Backlot Express. My only concern is getting back to DHS in time for Fantasmic!. It's the only night it is playing our entire trip.

On Wednesday, I would drop Akurshus for lunch... move Biergarten to lunch and then have dinner at Bistro De Paris.

I would love to do that, but they are not on the DDP

Yachtsman's Steakhouse

yummy. I think I might switch that for Spoodles on our first night.

Can anyone give me a time frame on the earliest we can expect to sit down for dinner on our first night? Our flight arrives at 4:45pm then we need to check into our room and probably take a cab to wherever we will eat near boardwalk. I've read that it can take up to 2 hours to get to your resort from the airport using magic express.
