Need help to find car rental discount in Canada

We are looking to rent a mini van for nine days at the end of October. I have reviewed posts on the transportation board for discounts but have found the majority of the codes do not work on Canadian rentals.
Would you happen to have any tips or discount codes for Canadian car rentals. Thanks!

We needed to rent a truck for our daughter's wedding (long story there!) and i found that AM gives a discount with budget. I was also able to use the codes that go with being a Southwest member ... just need to plug it in not actually have the account BTW... just try the codes you'll find on the mousesavers webpage.

If you're a Costco member, try costcotravel. All of my rentals for the past few years have been through them (the US site, even though their terms said you were supposed to be a US resident), but now that they have a Canadian site, that worry is gone.

Also RBC Reward Points if you have them. I just used mine since the exchange is a killer

We are using Costco travel for this trip as well. The one concern about using airmiles or other points programs is, while they are obviously a lot cheaper, you may not be able to cancel them and from what I have seen you are still on the hook for taxes and any fees. I wanted to book something I could cancel or change so that is why I went with Costco.

We are going for nine days in January and I just booked a minivan in terminal for $223 USD on travelocity.com. My strategy is to book early and check back often - almost every day. When we started planning this trip a few months ago, the price was over $400. It was just sitting at $254 for the longest time - checked this morning and it was done to $223. Just rebooked and cancelled my old reservation. I will continue to check until we leave on the 26th.
