need help selling a donald duck childs barber chair!

I have an elderly friend that needs to part with a large Donald duck children's barber chair complete with hydraulics. it is a wonderful piece but I am having no luck with my ebay listing. it appears to be circa 1950's and is in really wonderful shape. the colors are vibrant and the surface shows only very minor wear. please, please if anyone knows of any collectors or museums that might like this unusual piece, please contact me. this gentleman needs a new roof badly and must sell this.

That is such a cool piece. If I had that kind of money I would add it to my collection. I don't think Ebay is the right way to sell this item. You need a real appraisal. I think an auction house is a better route. This isn't condusive to getting a roof on your friend's house, but unfortunately this is a very specialized item your friend is trying to sell, the kind of item bought by serious collectors with cash.
