NEED HELP(Richard Petty driving)_

I seen where there is a richard petty driving experiance track right there at disney world and thought about doing that for hubby for a christmas present.. does anyone know what the 109 dollar package consists of? and was it worth it? thanks!

At that price I imagine that's the ride along experience that I got for my partner (on the website it's listed as $99 right now but all the other prices are $400+ so it has to be this).

Simply put, they get you suited and booted just like a NASCAR driver (you even wear a HANS device), you get a safety talk\video for 5 mins, you sign a waiver then you get to ride along with a driver (for 3 laps I think).

You get to buy souvenirs of the ride along like framed photos, videos, etc.

My partner loved it and said it was a blast.

Think I know where the $109 comes from. You can buy a DrivePetty gift card valid for a drive along at any of the speedways that use for $109. Or you can pick a specific speedway for $99.

It is for the ride along. As the previous poster said, you get suited up and take three laps with one of their drivers. as a NASCAR fan it was fun. My brother had one it in an auction and wasn't going to use it, so he gave it to me. It took less than an hour and from sign ups to completion.

While it was a great experience, I don't think I would spend $109 on it. Search around. They occasionally have deals. I have seen it for as cheap as $69.

It is definitely the ride along and I gave this to DH as a gift for our 5th Anniversary and he loved it, he want to go back and do the other packages.

They do offer a AAA discount, as well as other's, you just have to look for them. I used to know what they were, but haven't looked lately.

Just my 2 cents, but I bought the ride along for my husband for our anniversary last year while we were down there. It was such a fun surprise! He loved the ride along and said it was much more fun than he anticipated it would be. Now he wants to drive!

I actually got a Groupon deal for $50! I signed up for Orlando's Groupons and I get to see if anything useful during our trips comes up.
