Need help removing spyware/virus

Hi,

I got a virus a few days ago and I thought I removed it, it seemed ok for a few days but it's back to giving me these pop-ups that want me to install a program called Antispy Safeguard. It tells me microsoft has detected a trojan and to insall a program to fix it. I removed the actual antispy safeguard the other day. Not only am I getting the pop ups to install again, but now I'm gettng pop-ups for about.blank about schools in PA for Clasmates.com.

I removed the orginal program this way:

Something I read today said that if you just remove the program, the original thing that caused the pop-ups will come back and it has. Unless I got the virus again in a few days.

I'm afraid of the sites I'm pulling up.

Did you try to restore the settings? Date back the restore settings to the day before you got the spyware/virus. That usually works, I've had to do that a couple of times...

I would go to malwarebytes Anti-ware and download this program. Then go to superantispyware free edtion.
